Rounded up some of my favorite geek fashion finds from the past few weeks!
Check them out below:
1. Star Wars x Po-Zu Han Solo Sneakers
These are both amazing and disappointing because they only have them in men’s sizes, starting from a US size 9. WHYYYYYY???? 😦
2. Captain Marvel Sweater from Marvel x Musterbrand
I love it and I need it. This was announced yesterday but should be coming out very soon (most likely with the release of Infinity War at the end of the month)!
3. I Never Freeze Unisex Shirt – Jordandené
The best quote from Black Panther! Going to eventually buy this for my boyfriend and I because we say this all the time to each other.
4. Galactic Scavenger Cropped Sweater – Elhoffer Design
This sweater is inspired by Rey’s outfit at the end of The Force Awakens. It’s so beautiful and available for pre-order with very limited runs! Get it while you can.
5. 22K Gold PacMan and Ghost Earrings – Unicorn Crafts
They’re so cute! I love classic video games and PacMan was a staple in our house back in the day so I’m definitely going to try and get these soon.
Have I ever mentioned I love fashion? Well, I do.
I love shopping and putting outfits together and fawning over things I can’t afford. You know what I love more? Geeky fashion. Geek inspired or nerd inspired, whichever term you associate with, I am willing to spend all the money.
In the past few weeks there have been a lot of announcements/releases in the geek fashion world and I decided to roundup some of my favorites. Check them out below!
1. MUSTERBRAND’s Star Wars Inspired Swimsuits *insert heart eyes here*
I’m not much of a pool person, but I am willing to make sacrifices for the Ahsoka swimsuit. It’s beautiful.
2. Her Universe’s Black Panther Collection
The windbreaker is so pretty and I am SO ready to watch Back Panther next week!
3. Lantern Pins’ New Dark Love Glitter Necklace
I love her shop. I love her pins. And I think making the lightsaber hearts into necklaces were a fantastic idea!
4. Her Universe’s Princess Leia Bespin Dress
This dress looks super flowy just like Leia’s in Empire. I need it.
5. Hot Topic’s Sailor Moon Collection, Souvenir Jacket
The pastel colors on this jacket are beautiful. I loved Sailor Moon as a kid so this jacket brings back a lot of memories and it’s so cute and stylish.
6. Elhoffer Design’s New Galactic Bromance Shawl Cardigan
I ship it and I’d wear it. I love the Galactic Bromance line and this cardigan looks super comfy. It’s open for preorders, so get to it!
I love fashion, but more importantly I love geeky fashion. Star Wars Style is a series that has been done before by many wonderful bloggers and this is my attempt at joining in on the fun. I love curating outfits in my everyday life, especially ones that feature Star Wars because I own way too many SW related clothing and accessories.
So, here it is… my first outfit of the series.
I decided to make my beloved Her Universe 40th Anniversary Souvenir jacket the main focus. It’s my favorite thing to wear at the moment and I really should stop before I ruin it forever. This jacket is such an eye-catcher that I always make sure the rest of my outfit doesn’t attract too much attention. I paired the jacket with light blue cropped jeans from Levi’s, a plain black top from H&M, and black platforms from Urban Outfitters. For accessories I’m wearing my Millennium Falcon earrings from Hot Topic and sporting some classic black Ray-Ban sunglasses. I like minimal jewelry and I feel that the earrings are a nice touch and add a subtle nerdy flair.
This outfit is very versatile and can be worn for many occasions, such as girls night out, on a date, The Last Jedi premiere, etc. The platforms could easily be replaced with sneakers for a more casual look. My favorite thing about this jacket is that the material isn’t thick and I never feel like I’m having a heat stroke (I live in FL).
This year marks the 40th Anniversary since Star Wars premiered in theaters and this jacket is the perfect piece in any wardrobe to show your love and celebrate the milestone!
